Increased precision and working safety
ESAB roller beds are designed and built for tough working environments. All models meet or exceed the EN occupational safety requirements. ESAB roller beds TNA 3 – 50D come with a low voltage (24 V) remote control unit for all functions.

In the conventional TNA model, the adjustment of roller distance according to diameter is carried out by means of a spindle screw. The TNA model represents the optimum for both small and large diameters. The small and compact size improves its versatility as well.

For daily work, these roller beds offer the  perfect solution with durable PU – rollers or steel rollers (150TNA and bigger ) and closed gear drives with optimized motor and gear drive sizes.

Rotation is controlled by means of new inverters, so called vector inverters. The technique with vector invertors improve accuracy and offer better roatation torque at very low roation speeds. For the sake of afety, all roller beds are equipped over current protection, thereby preventing the overloading of the transmission gears. All drives are equipped with AC motors which give less maintenance, no carbon – brush to change mechanically and electrically the roller beds have been designed with fewer components – meaning not only easier maintenance but smaller number of spare parts as well.

LOADING
When selecting a roller     bed the range of weights and diameters of the work piece must be ascertained. Normally, the rolling capacity of the power section equals the loading capacity  of three roller bed units. In case of asymmetric objects , the rolling capabilities need to be calculated and compared to the table.

REMOTE CONTROL
Easy control by help of a new small remote control with plug and play connection. Even if the remote control is small in size, it is big in features. The same control is small in size, it is big in features. The same control unit can be used on all standard positioner / roller bed from the display.

Thanks to the new bus connections the connecting cables are much thinner, lighter and more flexible. In addition to functional keys, the remote control also features, as standard, a display for real rotation speed (mm/min) Additinally, all roller beds can be connected to ann external PEH process controller.
