Leading welding solutions and equipment provider, Goscor Arc, has been awarded the distributorships in South Africa for French welding company GYS and leading German abrasives company Klingspor. It has also renewed business with China’s leading welding consumables manufacturer.

1 July, Leading equipment manufacturing company, Bell Equipment, has announced that Goscor Arc Richards Bay is its Supplier of the Year in the Commodity category.

Rob Pirie, Goscor Arc MD, says that it is a meaningful tribute to his team to receive this accolade from one of South Africa’s top companies.

“Bell is a world-renowned name in articulated dump trucks and its Richards Bay head office and factory is one of its premier manufacturing facilities. I’m genuinely pleased that our team has managed to give Bell the service they deserve,” says Pirie.

Leading welding solutions and equipment supplier, Goscor Arc, has announced that, in line with the Goscor Group’s drive to focus on and build its key products within the group, it has relinquished the distribution of Lincoln products. “We will concentrate on ESAB products. This will help our technical, sales and support staff all provide a better service and our customers will be the ultimate winners,” says Rob Pirie, Goscor Arc MD.

Since adding the Lincoln brand to its repertoire, Goscor Arc (GA), which previously offered Esab only, has seen its order book grow in leaps and bounds.

GA MD Rob Pirie says that with these two world leaders on board, his company is able to offer a wider range of solutions to its customers. “The quality of their research and development, product and service enables us to offer our customers a significant range of superior machines and consumables that fit the tailor-made welding solutions we offer our customers,” he says.
