AG Siddle (Tony)Executive Chairman Tony is a qualified CA (SA) and holds a B Comm degree in Accounting from University of Cape Town. He served his articles of clerkship at Deloitte before joining Goscor Cleaning Equipment sales department in January 1992. He has held various positions within the group sales departments and was appointed as the Managing Director in 1997. Tony also served on the board of Micor Industrial Corporation Ltd, a JSE holding company. He was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer in 2002 and then appointed a Group Chairman in 2010. |

R Pirie (Rob)Managing Director Rob is a qualified Electrical Technician and holds a Management Advanced Programme (MAP) diploma from the Wits Business School. His Electrical Engineering career began at Group Schneider where we was the National Distributor Manager for Low Voltage Products and then to GEC Alsthom where he took up the position as National Sales Manager. Rob’s career at Goscor began in January 1996, where he was employed as the Marketing Director of Goscor Lift Truck Company. By the end of that year, he took up the position of the Managing Director of Arc Engineering. Rob immediately took the bull by the horns and compiled an in-depth business plan for ESAB and 2 months later, Goscor Arc was awarded sole distribution rights for ESAB in South Africa. Rob has been happily married to his wife Desiree for the past 25 years and has 3 sons. He enjoys a good round of golf and is an avid Golden Lions rugby supporter. “My vision for Goscor Arc is to be the most technically competent provider of welding and cutting in Sub-Saharan Africa,” says Rob.

N Ho Hip (Neil)Operations Director Neil gained a National Diploma from Park Town College and his passion took him from the customer services industry to marketing until finally he joined Goscor Arc in 1997. He found a field that he had a natural instinct for which soon turned into a new found passion. Neil is currently the Operations Director at Goscor Arc after an exciting 10 year journey with the company. Neil enjoys the diversity of the engineering industry and his natural ability to deal with customers has seen him overcome many obstacles. His resilience is also one of his many strengths. In his spare time, Neil enjoys a round of golf, dancing or listening to music. To support Neil on the home front is his wife, Sandy and his two children, Chanté & Chad. |
